Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the provision of wedding photography and/or videography services (“Services”) by Wedding Diaries, based in the UK, to the Client.

By booking with us, you agree to the following:

1. Booking & Payment

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your wedding date.

Your date is not reserved until this deposit has been received and confirmed in writing.

The remaining 50% balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the wedding date.

For weddings booked within 30 days of the event date, full payment is required upfront.

Payment Methods:

We accept payment via bank transfer. Account details will be provided on your invoice.

2. Cancellations & Refunds

If you cancel the booking, the deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances.

If cancellation occurs within 30 days of the wedding date, no refund will be provided as the full amount is retained to cover reserved time and loss of potential bookings.

If we (Wedding Diaries) are unable to fulfil the booking due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund, including the deposit.

3. Client Responsibilities

You are responsible for providing a clear schedule of the day, including key timings, addresses, and contact details for the venues.

You must obtain permission for photography/videography at all relevant venues.

You agree to inform us of any restrictions that may affect the coverage (e.g., church rules, lighting restrictions).

4. Coverage

We will capture your wedding to the best of our ability, using our artistic judgment to determine moments, styles, and locations.

While every effort is made to document the full day, we cannot guarantee the inclusion of any specific image or moment.

5. Delivery

Edited photographs and/or video footage will be delivered within 6 to 8 weeks of the wedding date.

All digital content will be sent via a private online gallery or download link.

6. Copyright & Usage

All images and video remain the intellectual property of Wedding Diaries.

Clients are granted a personal license to use the media for non-commercial purposes (e.g., printing, social media, sharing with friends/family).

We reserve the right to use images and videos for promotional use, including our website, social media, and marketing materials. If you wish to opt out, please notify us in writing before the wedding date.

7. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to illness, injury, acts of God, fire, flood, or venue restrictions. In such cases, we will make every reasonable effort to arrange a substitute photographer/videographer or issue a refund.

8. Limitation of Liability

Our liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the services. We are not liable for any consequential loss or emotional distress due to missed moments or technical failure.

9. Agreement

By paying the deposit and confirming your booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions in full.
